Before coming to the USA, I worked as a music director at a Childcare Center in the city of St. Petersburg in Russia for thirty years. I have BA in early childhood education. Today I work with some Russian preschool groups, for an American kindergarten and as a substitute music teacher at a private school. I am deeply convinced that the earlier a child gets access to the music world the richer emotionally and spiritually his or her life becomes, for the music language is international and within reach of everyone. I want the young children to learn to understand this language and enjoy the musical experience. In our musical studio “Pink-Cheeked Gingerbread Man”, I am going to teach them songs, dances and expressive speech in the simple and natural form for the kids— the play. It will help them build their self-confidence, body control and develop a creative mind. I pay greatest attention to the musical dramatization where children’s abilities and wishes can be unfolded to the fullest. All the
young children from three- to six-years old are very welcome to our
studio. I am sure they will enjoy their own work as musicians
and actors. They will learn beautiful, expressive speech and will able
to sing and dance. Inna Lopatik, Director of the musical studio
