Language Adventure Day Camp - Summer 2005 The International School in Farmington Hills was proud to offer Language Adventure Day Camp where children had the opportunity to have fun while learning or reinforcing a foreign language. The students explored French, German, Spanish, and Russian languages this summer. The camp brought a staff of native speaking teachers, combining foreign language immersion with the activities of a summer camp. For more information visit our Language Adventure Day Camp page.
Family Fun Day at the Cranbrook Art Museum - March 12, 2005. The kids had fun with children's book illustrations and listened to professional storytelling. We enjoyed many fun, educational activities while learning about the world of children's picture books at the Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills. Russian Rock in Detroit An evening of Russian Rock in Detroit was a great success. A crowd of about 200 people showed up. Russian Cultural Center joined efforts with DJ La Femme in introducing Detroit's own Russian Rock bands "Mantra" and "Vitamin Sha" and Toronto's "Sobaki Pavlova." Songs by "Alisa", "Kino", "Picnic" and others were performed as well as the bands' original material.
